What date does an employer have to give W-2's by?
My employer stated that she just started to fix W-2's today and it would be Feb. 5 or later before they were ready. I thought they were required to have them by Jan. 31. Am I wrong. If not how, and to who do I report it?

employers have until 02/02 to mail them or give to in person since 01/31 falls on a saturday this year.the irs will start taking w-2 complaints on 02/15 if you don't have it by then.
