    2 reasons:

    1. On ebay, some sellers hide the real expense by charging a lot for shipping. They do this because ebay fees are charged as a percentage of sale price, not including the shipping price. So they might charge $10 more for shipping than it really costs.

    2. On sites like Amazon, there are a lot of people who over-price their items. They put something on there at what they think its worth, and it sits there forever on the website and never sells. Sometimes its because people aren't interested in selling quickly, and they are just hoping that if they wait long enough some idiot will come along and pay them more than the item is worth. Other times its because they don't take the time to compare prices to see what;s reasonable, they just assume that its worth some amount based on what they think.

Some sellers on Amazon (and Half.com also) list books at outrageous prices that I don't think anyone would pay - I've never understood why.

i've got consistently achieved somewhat nicely with textbooks. while you're coping with correct variants (books that persons want), you will do ok. the ask your self is the shopper desires that distinctive e book, there is not any procuring for something cuter, greater exciting, or admired. in case you are able to shop your costs low and locate out what books are in call for, this is a good initiate.
