Ok this might sound stupid?

What do people mean by "check your cervix" to help to see if you are ovulating?

What do I do and what do I look for?

Thanks in advance!

When you are ovulating the cervix (part of the uterus at the top of the vagina) produces a very thick mucus, the production of mucus is constant, so by regular investigation you should be able to ascertain when you are ovulating by observing the viscosity.

You have to check for mucous than usual. Your cervix lets this out. It also feels lower and warmer. So you as a woman know your body. So when you see mucous and feel different that means you are ovulating.

  • I think they mean in a mirror. Your cervix changes during ovulation. I have heard that temperature is a better method. Good luck!
