Could Large ice fields be man made by solar panels?

1st could ice be made in the Arctic by solar power then used to reclaim or just patch Ice @ 2ndly Could water be sucked out of equator level areas frozen by use of solar and dumped back in controlled fields of ice of course I think It can but to solve an argument or just for your opinions

Update:

made where needed

Update 2:

and critical human purposes??? planet is critical because of years of critical human purposes

Wha? So you're saying we should use electricity from solar power to freeze water and then move that water to places where the ice has melted? (Correct me if I got it wrong)

It would naturally be much better to just use that solar-generated electricity for critical human purposes, thereby saving on carbon emissions, than using it to do the process you described.

The problem with a refrigerator is that while it makes one area hold, it has to spit out the heat somewhere else. If you don't believe me, put your hand on the back of your fridge.

With that being the case, making ice isn't going to do a whole lot of good because the heat will just get spit back out into the atmosphere, world temperatures will stay the same and the ice will melt again.

No, it would be better to use that large amount of solar panels to reduce are use of fossil fuel-powered electricity and thus cut down on the greenhouse gases that are causing this problem in the first place.

You need snow, rain or some other moisture to create ice, so using solar panels to refrigerate the water to freezing doesn't sound possible. Plus the poles get the least amount of sun so the panels wouldn't generate power for many hours each day.

sounds good, take from point A. of overabundance to point B. in need. Good idea.... do it where ice normally is, and just keep layering it up. becuase if you were to layer it onto land? killing tons of plants and such, if you were to do it on the ocean, disrupting the salinity of the oceans. Hrm. keep thinking.
