Is God evil? If He is not evil, than is the devil better at being evil?

By definition, - God is good, not evil.

But the mystery of inequity recognizes that we don't know how evil originated. But it starts with rebellion.

Firstly evil is not a created `Thing` but a moral and free will choice to disobey the will of God Who is all goodness itself.

God cannot be untrue to His own nature so therefore God cannot ever be evil.

Satan although created good chose to use his will against God and reject the holy order that God created for him and all creation too.

Evil is not greater than good even if it sometimes appears so,the fact that Gods plan for a new creation(in and through Christ) is coming to completion means that evil will no longer be a factor for humanity when all is fufilled.

Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.
