i think i like my best friend... HELP!?

okay so me and this kid, we'll name him bob. Well... me and "bob" have been friends since 5th grade (currently in 9th grade right now... freshmen in highschool...) and we've been BEST friends since end of 7th-begining of 8th grade. and we tell eachother a lot. he knows what ive been through and i know what he has. he's WICKEDDD popular and very very hot haha. he's tan, has a 6 pack, the hole 9 yards. and he's been single for over a year... and he tells me he hates it. and hes starting to like my other best friend "molly" but im not sure if he even likes her, he just told me he thinsk shes cute. and "molly" knows i like "bob" so "molly" wouldnt do anything, i know her. and so anyways.. i really want to tell him... but i have no idea how. i mean, i do. but i just need advice. i dont want it to be awkward..

OH! and i cannot tell if he likes me... he flirts with everyone haha. but when he has a gf, he doesn't. but he does flirt with everyone. and everyone lets him, and flirts back, beucase he's like so popular and good looking. soo yeah. im going to tell him.. i just need to know how to say it you know? heeelllp!

just say what you've already said here - a bit shorter obviously. don't ask him out or put any pressure on him. just tell him you've liked him for a while and that you'd still want to carry on as you are if the feelings weren't mutual. i'm presuming you don't want to lose him as a friend.

i would advise jsut telling him. dont think of ways to say it, jsut let it come nautrally, if u make up somehting for the moment, it will sound practiced, and that will be awakward.
