I am 17 years old and when I was 15 I found out my dad cheated on my mom after 25 years of marriage. It's been really hard and they are still going through the divorce. I was wondering if anyone could help me cheer up. Anything at all. I'm really down in the dumps. My house is a constant reminder of my dad and how much I miss him regardless of what he did. I just went on a 2 day vacation with him at the beach and had the best time. Now that I'm home, I look around and everything is a constant reminder of him. I could use a smile or a laugh. Please help, I appreciate it.

I am seventeen years old and want to be super protected for my first time.... and birth control pills help with regulating periods and cramps and stuff. So I want to get birth control, but I know my mother will only think just because I have it I'll go off and have sex with my boyfriend (who I have been with for over a year). So, I was wondering if I could call the doctors office my self and make my own appointment just to get the pill from my doctor? Also, there is a place called Pro Health in Fitchburg, Massachusetts that I have heard of. My sister went there and told me that when she was seventeen (about 6 years ago) she got birth control there and it was free. I don't know if it is still, but if anyone had any information about that then that would be really helpful. Thank you so much!

So theres this online multiplayer game I've played before, but I cannot think of the name! It's sort of like the game snake, where you are this "line" and you cant crash into any walls or yourself. you can play with 3 other people too and the different "lines" are yellow(i think), blue, green, and pink. you can also chat on this site. What do I do? It was one of her guy friends that she was interested in, and she didn't want to have sex yet, but he did anyways, and she clearly said "NO" but he did it anyways. That's rape. I told her that, and she knows it. She won't tell an adult. I told her multiple times she has to, and she will regret it if she doens't tell an adult, and she just kept saying no. I asked whyand she said she doesn't feel comfortable. I said I understand, but she has to tell someone. Okay so I'm 15, going into my Sophmore year of high school... and i've never used a tampon yet. I've been using pads, but they just get so annoying, and it's embarassing beucase all my friends use tampons and if I run out of pads at school, they all only have tampons and I have to use like a wad of toilet paper....

but anyways, i read the instructions, read other questions like this, and still nothing helps.

i put the tampon applicator at the opening, but it just feels WICKED weird when i even just touch it there. I try to put it up, but i just won't do it. If you don't know what I mean, it's like I want to put it up there really bad, but it just feels weird even when it's not in my vagina, and I can't bring myself to push it up there.

I've tried, and failed, multiple times and still have yet to succeed.

I'd like some MAJOR advice please...

My mom "doesn't think i should be putting things up there" yet. So she's no help at all.

I've asked my sisters, and they tell me exactly the same thing as I read on here, and what I read on the instructions. I just really need help.

okay. so i trust my boyfriend. but it pisses me off so much when he hangs out with his ex's. im not aloud to have a boyfriend yet, (my parents rules are 16 and im 15) so i couldnt go hang out with him. so anyways, hes BEST FRIENDS with this girl, his most recent ex. and he always talks to all of his ex's and hangs out with them. he knows i get bothered by it, but he still does it and assures me everythings fine and their not doing anything and that the paretns are there and blah balh blah. it just pisses me off...

Im turning 15 in January. I have been with my boyfriend for 7 months. almost 8. and my parents STILL do not apporove of it. They wont let me hang out with him at all. It has been so hard. The only times i can hang out with him is if i sneak it, and im not that type of kid that would do that. But i have before, becuase i truley am in love with him. he has stolen my heart, hes the perfect guy i could ask for. he protects me, loves me, and is everything to me. but anyways, im the baby of the family, so im guessing my parents dont want me to see me grow up, beucase my 2 older sisters are out of college (ones in her last year actually) and idk. its just really hard for me and him to hang out. i've asked before for him and a couple friends to come over, but they said no. its not that they dont like him, because my dad met him once for 2 seconds. my dad said "i dont want to be his friend..." hes a joker about these things too. he used to be a butcher, so hes like "just tell him what i used to do for a job and i dont want to be put back in jail" of course he was kidding, but i just dont know. its so hard to hang out with him. we never really do. and we dont see eachother in school. we see eachother in the halls 2 times and sometimes have lunch together. i just really need help you guys. what am i to do? ive tried convincing them but it just ends up with us screaming at eachother and me crying in my room. it would be so much easier if they just let us hang out. i told them they can be in the room the WHOLE time. but they still said no. my dad was like NO BOYS UNTIL YOUR 16!! and my boyfriend said he would wait that long. but we've got in some fights about hanging out too. but he understands, but i mean, i get where hes comming from. i just need help you guys. please.

ok i have to do a project and i cannot find out who this guy i have to look up is. his name is cleomedes. i know hes a greek astronomer and stuff but i have to go up to the board and explain what he found out and stuff. everything on google.com or ask.com has WAYYY to many big words and i dont understand them at all

this is the information i got so far:

Cleomedes was a Greek astronomer. He recorded several hypotheses like the earth's rotund form and the moon's revolutions, which were recognized by later scientists.

His birth and death are not positively known. Historians said that he wrote his work sometime between mid 1st century BC and 400 CE. He refers a lot in his writing to the work of Posidonius, a mathematician and astronomer. So, basically, he proved that the Earth was round and that the moon revolves around the Earth.
