Seventeen y/o Birth Control Pill...?

I am seventeen years old and want to be super protected for my first time.... and birth control pills help with regulating periods and cramps and stuff. So I want to get birth control, but I know my mother will only think just because I have it I'll go off and have sex with my boyfriend (who I have been with for over a year). So, I was wondering if I could call the doctors office my self and make my own appointment just to get the pill from my doctor? Also, there is a place called Pro Health in Fitchburg, Massachusetts that I have heard of. My sister went there and told me that when she was seventeen (about 6 years ago) she got birth control there and it was free. I don't know if it is still, but if anyone had any information about that then that would be really helpful. Thank you so much!

Pro Health is still located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. You can get birth control there regardless of your income. For more information visit: http://www.mocinc.org/prohealth.htm#women Teens do not need a parents permission.

If you make a doctor's appointment with your regular family doctor, he will write you a prescription for birth control, and unless you can pay for it, without asking your mom for help, it would be hard to hide from your mom.
