Has anybody else heard of this store that can almost entirely fix the CD rings?
It's called Buy Backs. It's a used video game, movie, and music store. If you take in your disc, and pay them $3, they'll sand the CD and make it almost new, even with those stupid rings you get when you bump your Xbox 360. I had it done to a couple of my games, and they work just fine now.

Yeah and if you keep doing it eventually it will "buff" the game right out. See, I'm a hardcore game collector, so sometimes I'll buy a real beat one to save on the cash as long as it's not a greatest hits and has the instructions.
I recently did this with a game around the holiday, took it to the place, paid the 3 bucks, game doesn't work anymore. Freezes at the second level every time.
Just be careful with that. Luckily that game only cost me around 17 to replace (vs the orignal 5 bucks) You tank that game though, and you're looking at another 60 bucks.
If your 360 is acting like junk, and ruining your games. Call Microsoft. Or get a new system. You're only delaying the inevitable.
And next time you think about a major console purchase... look up to see if this kind of stuff happens. 360's brick here and there all the time.
