What equipment do I need to record, mix and edit a podcast?

Thinking of very basic 4 track stuff. Can you recommend any software? The easier the better. Thanks

I don have much experience w/ podcasts but I do have some with editing music, so I can personally that a very basic program I think you would be able to use is Audacity, on the other side of the spectrum they have a program called FL Studio that you can download that is very detailed and can do a lot. These programs are free. Google Them I Think They Should Help.

There are a lot of ways to do this - what about a simple podcast kit?
