How does a movie theater determine the starting time of a movie? For example when would a 1 hr and 30 minute start at 7:00 pm instead of 7:30 pm?

They count the previews as well. So like if you were to go to a movie in the theaters and the movie started at 7:00 then in reality you really have like at least 5 minutes before the movie actually starts because they count the previews in with the actual time of the movie.
