My parents recently bought a Toyota 4Runner 2008 last year. To be completely honest, it's an amazing car! It runs smoothly, it's big enough for a family, and it has so much storage space. Look for a smaller SUV like a RAV4 or Honda CRV. If you don't need anything as big as a 4Runner you're wasting money on fuel, maintenance and not to mention they're hard to park. Your dollar will go further with a smaller SUV, you'll be able to afford a newer model than 2005. Check the dealer pre-owned lots and look at the CARFAX report, and arrange financing through your bank or credit union to get the best deal.

i wouldn't mind getting it...but really, think about it...do you need it?

i mean, its a toyota, so its gonna last you a long time. but do you really need a big SUV? if your going to be hauling big trailers or going offroading, then i'd encourage you to get it.

but if you only need it for a daily commute and to drop your kids at school, i'd reconmend something like a yaris, or a corolla. or even a camery or matrix.

trust me, with an SUV, you'll be paying more on gas, insurance, and it will be more expensive to purchase too.

but if you actually do need an SUV like that, by all means, go and get it!
