i just hooked up a car stereo in my golf cart at park the radio and speakers work fine but when moving the pow?
power stays on but the sound cuts on and off any body know what could be causing this.
to answer ur question the cart is gas. i ran power directly off the batterey. i had to run the constant 12 volt and the acc together for the radio to turn on. i also put a toggle switch between the batt and radio. should the acc not be tied with the main power for the radio.? thanks for taking time to answer.

Is the cart gas or electric and where did you get power from?
My Mom and Dad used to run a private campground and I have put stereos on many golf carts there. Most electric carts are 36 volt operating on 3 batteries in series so you cannot get power straight from the key switch. You have to go straight to the first battery in the series for power and use a toggle switch to power the radios accessory wire on and off. It sounds like you have tied into the key switch for power which is not good since the power through the key goes to the motor servos on the cart and will have voltage spikes and fluctuation while driving not to mention it will get more than the 12 volts the radio is made to run on which could burn your radio up. Did you check the voltage at your source with a meter to make sure it was 12 volts with no fluctuation while driving? I'm betting that is the problem.

Am I the sole man or woman who would not study solutions by people who don't have a sprint blue guy next to them? besides, re: your question - the extra extreme something is the fewer extreme I take it. I even have an inverted physique of recommendations. Funerals would desire to be humorous, dammit! you will desire to snigger approximately getting fired. even nevertheless, dropping the taxi receipt and dreading having to justify why you will desire to get reimbursed $15 despite in case you do not have a receipt - that's what keeps me up at night.
