I think this email is spam. Is it?

Question

yesterday i recieved an email from fedex stating i have a package and that they needed a confiration email. so i emailed the email address given and told them i had no prior knowledge of a package being delievered to me and i asked for the tracking number.
So today i recieved a reply email from them. they said it was from Chevron Texas Oil Gas Company. (now why on earth would they be sending me something?) AND it said I had to pay a $150 Delivery Shipping Fee before i could recieve the package!!
Thats OutRagious!!! And it said it already had my name and address. 
There was also attached, a 'Contact Officer' with a name and number that dont look formilar. 
Im assuming this is just a spam email. but i NEVER would have thought a spam mail could actually use a real businesses name (FedEx-  i mean the email has the fedex logo and even the email address is fedexpackagedelivery0@live.com)
So Im definately not gonna waste $150 on this for sure. But Do you guys think its spam too??

It's worse than spam, it's a scam email. These people are thieves and are trying to trick you and take your money.

It's nothing but an outright scam to the third-degree. You should never give the scammers your personal information. Also, never give them not one cent of your money or you'll never see it again. The only thing you need to do with that message is just to get it spammed straight into oblivion right away. You don't get anything out of this nonsense of theirs.
