So my bestfriend wants me to go to a gay bar (he is gay) tonight. My boyfriend is pretty pissed about it. He says I shouldnt go to a bar with another guy. But its not like Im tryin to get with him...he's gay!

Well my gay friend is pissed saying my boyfriend is just trying to control me.

I personally dont really want to go to the bar because I dont feel its right to do that to my boyfriend. but my best friend would be so mad at me if I ditched out on him.

So Y!A....what to do what to do????

I work at a hotel and there are 2 front desk computers. the one that is used the most has, recently, slowed down a lot. loading anything takes 3 to 5 mins. And thats not good to make our guests wait.

These computers have a filter on them so I wouldnt think things like instant messanger, porn sites, many downloads, etc. could be the problem because we cant do anything like that on them.

The antivirus software we have is Sophos (which I hate because it does absolutely nothing, and theres nothing i can do about it)

In the past week I've ran the antivirus check 3 times (each time takes HOURS!!), I've defraged the system, and done a 'disk cleanup', and I've also tried deleting some of the programs we not need or use.

Yet my computer is still Turtle Slow. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. So my bosses bosses bosses etc. boss wants us to promote more advertising for our business. I work at a pretty nice Hotel (Homewood Suites By Hilton) in Sandston VA. We are one of the closest Hilton properties by this Airport so we do pretty good as it is.

Now we have to come up with ways to advertise our Hotel. I've already come up with the local paper (Richmond Times Dispatch) and the Richmond Bus Company (GRTC) but I cant really come up with other ways of advertising. I'd really like my boss to be pleased with my work so If any of you could help out I'd be SOOOO happy.

So I've recently started getting into subwoofers. Right now I have a '99 Honda accord. In the back i have a 200watt amp pushing a 12' Jack hammer in a really great box. We didnt have real speaker wire so we got 600 watt electrical wire (lol I know). Well It doesnt push as well as I would like it to. I used to have a '96 mazda 626 with 2 10' sherwinvages (dont remember what amp I had hooked up) and they sounded amazing. Im thinking about putting them in the honda.

But my question is, what kinda of amp do you think I should put in my car to push that jackhammer? Or should I just get rid of it and put the vages in there?

So Im not big on it, its whatever. But I wanted to download some rap to my ipod so when my boyfriends in the car he doesnt have to listen to my music. I know he likes Lil Boosie and Gucci Man (which i already have on my ipod) but he's kinda gettin sick of listening to those all the time. I thought I'd surprise him with some new tunes.

But I dont really know whatelse he likes. Any suggestions?

Ok So last month I went to the local health center becuase I was about 4 days late on my period. I took a pregnancy test there which came back negative so they started me on birth control on that day. 3 days after i started the pill I spotted a few times over the course of 2 days but no actual period.

Here it is a month later and during the sugar pills I didnt recieve a period. BUT when I started a new pack of the pills My period started.

I think the stupid doctor I saw shouldnt have started me on the pills til my period was over. I think my body is trying to get used to the pill, thats why its not 'on time'

But Do you think this is normal for having just started the pill? I only ask becuase my boyfriend is comepletely worried about it. He thinks I HAVE to have my period when I take the Sugar pills. I told him its gonna take some time to get into my system and come out right but he doesnt believe me lol

So basically the question is: Is this normal with the pill? Do I have anything to worry about? Also, How long does it take for the pill to be effective? I was told 1 month but is that true?

I just saw on my profile today that I joined April 19th of 2007. so my 2 year anniversary is coming up in a few days. lol I cant believe I've been on here for 2 years lol What about you?

Ok so heres the deal. Long story short: Transmission went out in my '96 mazda 626. Paid $630 for a rebuild transmission. Paid $400 to install it and put a new Timing belt on it. The new transmission doesnt work at all. So the people i baught it from told me i could either A. Keep the CRAPPY transmission I have now and deal with it. or B. Take the crappy transmission out and only get the $630 back. I was pissed because they wouldnt pay for the labor to putting the POS in! They said it was because I didnt buy a "Labor warrenty" but THEY NEVER OFFERED THAT TO ME!!!

So I could either A.) Drive arround with a crappy car and be out $1000 OR B.) Get $630 back, have NO car, and be out $400.

I have ABSOLUTELY NO idea of what to do!!!! No car = No Job. No Job = No Money

BUT Crappy car = gonna have to get a new one soon anyway but at least i keep my job for now.

So please someone give me some kinda direction. I know either way I'm screwed but... still somethings gotta happen but I just dunno what to do

I baught a rebuilt transmission for my '96 mazda 626. and its not working right (doesnt switch into overdrive, revs up to 4000 RPMs before switching to 2nd, slips out of gear, etc).

Well....long story short they told me the problem is a TSC sensor is 'out of range' thats whats making the transmission not work. (I personally think their giving me BS cuz Im a woman who knows nothing about cars)

Well basically the question is the transmission came with a waranty. Now I dunno if the TCS thing is a part of the transmission or not. Do you think it will be covered by the waranty? Do is that money gonna have to come out of my pocket?

So I'm really not the type of girl to be mad about not doing anything for Vday. but my bf didnt even say happy Vday...let alone get me anything. We just hung out and drank with 2 of his friends he had'nt seen in a long time. Which is all fine and good by me cuz i know he's really missed them and I had a good time!

But should I be upset he didnt do anything for me? well...basically I am a..Little...little upset about it but I dont wanna say anything about it. cuz i dont wanna seem like.. i just WANT stuff.

I work at a hotel and we try to help our guests out as much as possible. Well we know one of our favorite guests is having an anniversary coming up this week and we are putting together a gift basket for them.

It'll have Champiange, wine glasses, roses, bubble bath, etc. in it. But I dont drink Champainge a lot. So i have no clue whats good, whats bad, whats really expensive and whats cheap.

If anyone can offer me any kind of help with this Myself and the rest of the staff would be very pleased!

We try to make our guests feel right at home so we dont want to give them a crappy champainge.

ok I'm on a wireless router and my connection to it is excellent. BUT everytime i try to use the internet its EXTREMELY slow! sometimes my internet page will lock up and say its no longer responding. then my computer freezes up for awhile. I dunno what to do!

I have spybot, which I've already run and its not finding any problems. is there any kind of...something i can download to solve this problem, or at least help me figure out what the problem is?? As you can tell Im not the smartest at computers. Would Really appreciate some help! Thanks!

yesterday i recieved an email from fedex stating i have a package and that they needed a confiration email. so i emailed the email address given and told them i had no prior knowledge of a package being delievered to me and i asked for the tracking number.

So today i recieved a reply email from them. they said it was from Chevron Texas Oil Gas Company. (now why on earth would they be sending me something?) AND it said I had to pay a $150 Delivery Shipping Fee before i could recieve the package!!

Thats OutRagious!!! And it said it already had my name and address.

There was also attached, a 'Contact Officer' with a name and number that dont look formilar.

Im assuming this is just a spam email. but i NEVER would have thought a spam mail could actually use a real businesses name (FedEx- i mean the email has the fedex logo and even the email address is fedexpackagedelivery0@live.com)

So Im definately not gonna waste $150 on this for sure. But Do you guys think its spam too??

so my boyfriend has a court hearing tomorrow. He has violated parole. dirty piss test, skipping school, not talking to his Parole officer, etc. He was already put in Juvie for this a few monthes ago but he appealed it. And now he's back in court for it. HE thinks hes going away for about 6 monthes. but his father spoke to his lawyer and the lawyer said itd only be probably 10 days.

Now....Im a pretty good girl and Ive never had to go to court or anything like that. so..obviously, i no nothing of the justice system.

So how long do you think he has? or what will happen in court tomorrow?

And im sure, if you do know anything about this, u'd need more information. but please...can u at least help me out the best you can.
