Sims 2..which cd to play?
does anyone know which cd (1,2,3,or 4) you are supposed to insert in order to play the game? also if you install expansions, you use the expansion disk instead right?
I have mansions and gardens and also the ikea stuff disks..if that makes a difference.

Disk No. 1.
If you have any expansion packs installed, you have to put the disk that comes with the latest released expansion in to play. That's not always the last game you installed though.
Here's the order that EA released them:
The Sims 2
University
Nightlife
Open for Business
Pets
Seasons
Bon Voyage
Free Time
Apartment Life
Mansions & Gardens
Yea, I know that Mansions & Gardens is just a stuff pack, but EA is telling people that if they install that game that they have to put that game in to play even though it is a stuff pack.
Then you have to use your Mansions & Gardens disk to be able to play.

you use disk one of of the sims 2 game if you don't have expansions and disk 1 of the new expansion you have added on have fun
