why do children scream?

We live next door to two of the loudest kids I have ever known. The boy, about 7, constantly screams and yells whenever outdoors. Is it because they don't know how to voice what they are feeling, or....? I know these days parents are afraid of correcting their children, and am jut trying to understand why they need to always scream and holler.

They want attention. To avoid it you must ignore. Simple as that. Cause they think the world will give them whatever they want, but the real world doesn't.

It's also upon the parents, on the way they handle kids.

Children are loud when they play outside. Is he screaming in anger or just playing? Children need space to be noisy. School playgrounds are usually a buzz of screaming and shouting!
