what boost will be produced?
im planning to fit a bmw mini super charger on an original mini engine with reduced compression ratio, will the super charger produce too much boost as its a smaller engine, or will it not matter for the fuelling? will i need to get a bigger pulley to reduce the boost
i know it will be quicker, thats the point of doing it!
and the metro turbo is exactly the same engine! so pefectly strong enough.
i just want to know if i will need to reduce the boost pressure

If this is a mini engine with a 3 bearing crankshaft, I really wouldn't try boosting its power.
They break.
Also, if it is carburated, remember the boost will be after the carburettor, i.e. it will be fuel and air mixed. Not as handy as fuel injection.

If you attach a pulley with some heavy lead weights and use some cogs and a lever you should get enough boost to launch the monkey.
