What is an acid(LSD) trip really like?

You cant explain it or understand it unless you've done it, so asking on yahoo is really pointless, do some research so you can understand the bare bones but there is no way you will fully understand from reading or watching or doing anything but trying it

Depending on what tasks you are doing you carry out your day to day stuff just be prepared to be staring at walls and the floor and at random things for a while. Do not shave on LSD and do not drive.

People will never be able to tell if you are on it, your pupils dilate but that's all, the only way they could tell is if you freaked out and told someone about it.

After about 40mins to an hour you start seeing weird kaleidoscopic patterns on everything and when you close your eyes you see these cool visuals (a bit like the winamp visuals). Your mind will take you on an inward journey and you can contemplate something for ages just sitting there.

The trip itself can last up to 10 hours but it really depends on your tolerance etc. If you trip again the second day you will need to take a few more tabs, but it won't be half as good and will definitely give you a headache, you need to wait until your brain builds up more serotonin( which causes the hallucinations). Thing's gradually get less trippy and then you can sleep, be prepared to be stay up all night if you drop it in the evening.

Make sure you have a sitter if inexperienced, and maybe start at half a tab.

I have to point out the BARBIE.. has no idea what he is talking about, it is both physically and psychologically non addictive, he obviously has never even smoked a cigarette.

dont listen to that first fvcking idiot, they have demonstrated they don't know what they are on about. you cant get addicted to it, the dose is absolutely tiny, and you get tolerance to it quickly. you do not feel like you can fly, thankyou 1960's propaganda.

it is a ridiculously strong drug, the main things for me being heavy hallucinations where colours pulse and switch, patterns move and constantly change shape, everything just gets weird as hell, it really is bizarre. even simple objects become amazing and captivating to look at. i dont really like looking at people's faces when im on it though because they tend to get a more devilish look about them, hahaha.

things sort of fractalize if you know what that means, if not, look it up.

to someone not on the drug they would probably think you are talking a load of $hit, because you probably would be. you get completely confused, nothing makes sense and you lose track of time, like you forget what happened a few minutes ago. i just have to give up trying to make sense of events and just enjoy the complete break from reality.

it lasts like 12 or 14 hours so once you take it, get settled in for a long trip. I've taken it four times now and each time it has just been insane (insane is a good word to describe it, but not in a bad way). you can't really describe an acid trip though, the first time i took it i was just stunned because for like 6 hours i was trying to find the words to describe it and i just couldnt, so i ended up giving up and just enjoying it.

its definitely not a drug to be taken lightly though, take too much of it and im sure it would mess with your mind. For me it takes about a week to get completely back to normal, because when i stop tripping i dont completely believe what my senses are telling me after the acid completely fooling my brain.

also, yes you can still sort of function normally on some levels, still talk and stuff, but everything will just seem so strange and new.

I'd reccomend taking it as long as you do your homework on it first and dont have mental problems. its a great thing if its done sensibly. do it somewhere safe and you feel relaxed, because if you feel uneasy it will amplify that feeling.

I'd say taking acid is one of the most significant experiences of my life so far, im definitely a different person after taking it but not in a bad way. Its one of my favourite things but I couldn't do it regularly.

oh, one more thing, i wouldnt reccomend drinking a lot of alcohol at the same time, i did that once and got a bit out of control, luckily had someone around to keep me out of trouble.

I have never tried it, but someone I know told me you either have a really good trip (will make you want to try it again) or a really bad trip (will probably make you never want to do it again). They said it was sort of like your dreaming when you’re awake.

you feel like u can fly and want to walk off a building to test it...then eventually u get addicted and feel like ur out of money so u steal from family and friends and then u end up becoming a prostitute male or female... on the streets of Amsterdam(its legal there)
