Just a promise ring might I mind you, but still. I was with this girl for just around a year and a half, and out of the clear blue she said she wasn't happy with me. 4 days later she has another boyfriend. Now she was my 1st real gf, and even though that doesn't really bug me now, I will always care. But what is the best way to confront this problem?

I don't really see what the problem is. She is not your girlfriend anymore, what her and her new boyfriend do together is their own business, not yours. You can care about her, that is fine, but leave their relationship and their ring to them.
