Does Netflix not receive returns on Saturdays?
I'm kind of new to Netflix so I'm not sure what is going on with this and was just wondering if anyone else might know what is going on here or have any suggestions on how to get around this problem....
The last few times I have mailed a movie back on a Thursday or Friday expecting them to receive it on Saturday, they don't get it until Monday. I'm just wondering if their facility is closed on Saturday (I'm near San Antonio, TX so my movies usually go to SA, Austin, or Houston) or if they're just holding off on sending me movies because maybe I'm watching them too fast (I usually watch the movie the night I get it and send it back the next day but sometimes I keep it for a day or 2).

Netflix does not ship movies on Saturday, Sunday and holiday's.
It also depends how far you live from the distrubition center, and the speed of the postal service.
I live an hour drive, from a distribution center, so when I return movies on Thursday morning (post office), I recieve movies on Saturday.

They do have the post office to deal with you know. It MAY take one or two days to get in their mail, THEN they have to process all those movies they get in the mail everyday. They already got in trouble for not shipping movies out on time once before, i doubt they would be doing that again

The mail service works quickly. They have netflix centers all throughout the U.S. so deliveries happen quickly.

Although I have received Netflix for years that had to be processed on Saturday now if I send one back on Friday (it takes one day to receive it at the Grand Rapids MI distribution center) I don't get a return until Tuesday. I used to get a disk six days a week. Now, nothing on Monday for anything I returned on Friday. My service is going backwards.
