songs on my computer sound likr the chipmunks?
i recently added extra memory in my computer and ever since then the sounds are all to fast ,ie songs sound like the chipmunks singing and voices are like people inhaling helium and then speaking. Is there anyway of adjusting the sound settings on my computer to stop this from happening .Thanks

It is likely a coincidence that you added memory and your sound went bad at the same time. When you say that the sounds are too fast, do you mean that they only sound fast or does a four minute song play in two. If the latter is true, then you have a major problem. However, if the audio is just higher pitch than it should be, then the most likely problem is that your speakers are bad. Try a different set of speakers to see if that fixes it. Also, try multiple programs to play audio to see if it is a problem with that program. Finally, go to the website of your computer’s manufacturer and download the latest audio driver(s).

in case you purely use an worry-free sampling value speedup approach, it facilitates to communicate and/or sing in a sluggish, of course mentioned yet general pitch voice. Then once you strengthen the sampling value (or velocity up the video), the words would be intelligible, yet in an greater, chipmunk-like voice. i found that some years in the past together as enjoying a David Seville Chipmunks album on a turntable - when I slowed it right down to take heed to his general voice, i found out only how slowly he sang a number of those songs.
