What is the last day of the Mayan calendar?

I want to know what day the average cycle falls on. I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR 2012 THEORIES. Thank you. Just want to know the last day.

Update:

According to wiki, they have a 360 day year, resulting on it being Dec. 21 the last day of the year. But its wikipedia so i can't only trust that.

Update 2:

So they only have one cycle and it lead straight to that day? I want to know more than 1.

If you look up the wikipedia article on the Mayan Calendar, it addresses the Mayan cycles, including the "long count" calendar principles. The short count calendar has a cycle of 52 years (the limitation of the count) while the long count has a much longer cycle.

I agree that wikipedia is not a final authority, but many of the footnotes and other links provide additional information.

Thank you for not asking about the stupid 2012 date that everyone is running on about (the sky is falling, the sky is falling).

Apparently the last date on the calendar is 21st December 2012... That is why there is nothing past that date. I have researched this fully and all I can keep coming up with is the 21-12-2012

It does not mean the 'end of the world' necessarily; but the dawning of a new age. Unfortunately, their calendar doesn't move past this date - but that could just mean that it would go back to zero and start over...

So, not supplying you with a "theory" - just the info that I have found through research, including documentaries.

    Cheers

The day they ran out of stone, or the day the carver got tired of chiseling.
