What Are Your Expectations For The 49ers Next Season?
my guess would be 9-7, and possibly 10-6 if Kurt Warner decides to retire....
they have the talent, and now they have the coaching, and with a solid draft and maybe some added free agents they could be playoff bound

7-9 or 6-10 seems most likely, .500 should be the goal. And thats taking into account the dreadful division they're in. I think Mike is a good choice to help what is a young team to mature. And they have some pieces to build with but way to many holes to fill, especially on offense. Building with free agents is not the way to go. So you should be hoping against that. Picking up role players is fine but the expensive headline grabbing free agents; well look at it like this. The Raiders sign those guys, the Steelers never do. Drafting wisely is the way its done. And that includes paying close attention to the character of the players.

The Eagles could be greater advantageous because of the fact they did play nicely the final 4 video games. They do would desire to enhance the LB's and OL 2 get greater advantageous. And Desean Jackson likely would be returned as quickly as they place the franchise tag on him. The 49ers would have expectancies after their sturdy season. yet like the Eagles they have some areas of project on their roster. specifically at extensive reciever and quarterback. they are going to have 2 make a determination on Alex Smith who will desire an excellent deal.

I think 9-7 would have been realistic until Sing fired Martz and brought in his Uncle Raye.
Jimmy Raye will be a liability to this team. We're going to see a lot of 3 yards and a cloud of dust style runs. Sing is going to be sreaming his head off all year, but our losses will be his fault. Who hires a 60 something never-was as the new OC? Especially after they just fired one of the most explosive OCs in the league? I just don't get it.
Also, we need a powerhouse QB and to shore up the line on both side. And we have NO pass rush. We need to make some big improvements before anything beyond 8-8 is within our reach.
Next year my honest prediction is 6-10. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm losing faith in the leadership of my favorite team.

They may hold at 7-9, but likely they will be 6-10. They are weak at QB and WR, and have a mediocre OL at best. Frank Gore is the best on that offense, but only if he stays healthy. Defensively, they are pretty good, but what happens if they suffer a key injury on that unit? Too many variables, and too early to tell, but if they remain healthy, I see them at 6-10. This is still the team that Mike Nolan built, and they typically win in the later part of the season.

Shaun Hill, Patrick Willis, Frank Gore, Nate Clemens, Mike Singletary, and #10 draft choice i say 9-7 but they win the NFC West. Maybe more we need to see how Shaun works out for a whole year but they have to stick it out with him i know Mike likes to motivate by benching but that's not how you do it with a qb.

I say 10-6 or 9-7 but definetly the playoffs im a die hard niners fan and i hope thay keep vernon davis or isacc bruce but definetly a new QB.

9-7. If our defense holds up and the offense can produce similar if not better numbers compared to last season, we should do good. Singletary will have the players ready to play every week.

I think the 49ers will surprise a lot of people next year and win the NFC West.

I like the talent the 49ers have. I think they will compete for the division crown with the Cardinals.

I'll take 9-7....in the Wildcard mix....more like a two-year project to rebuild into a legitimit contender!
