Bearded Dragon health?

I've read of a bearded dragon condition called yellow fungus. Now I'm paranoid that my lil guy has it. Does anyone have any pictures of what this looks like? The scales on top of his head are cupped more than the rest of his body, and the scales on his head have a yellowish tint around the edges. I don't really want to take a healthy dragon to the vet, but I will if I have to.

I would take him to the vet if you are concerned. Yellow fungus is hard to clear up but the earlier the vet finds it the easier it will be. I have seen Bearded Dragons have limbs amputated and I have seen this actually be fatal. I don't want to to scare you because your little guy may not have this but if he does the earlier the treatment the better the outcome. I agree with the other answer as well; yearly checkups are needed to keep your beardie healthy plus the vet can go over all the needs of yours as they age. It is also important in juvenile reptiles as well. I hope this helps. If it were one of mine I would take it to the vet just for peace of mind and to catch any problems early.

He may have this, the chance is slim and you should still get him a vet checkup even if he is healthy they always need checkups.
