I would not feel safer. But then I don't live in an area where people often carry guns around with them or where shootings ever occur.
Maybe if there was reason to think that McDonald's might get held up or shot up, knowing citizens had guns too would make me feel a little safer.
But I'd rather live in a place where shootings almost never occurred and no one carried guns. Which I do.

Safer. Obviously he has no intent on using it illegally otherwise he would have already.
Besides, your argument it retarded. It is called CONCEALED CARRY and for the most part it is unlawful to have the gun exposed and you can face inducing panic charges.
I know you are sheepishly in support of gun control and the questions you keep asking are loaded and are rarely relevant to real life situations.

Neither. If he has it where I could see it, he probably means no harm. The ones you have to worry about, are the ones who have it hidden well. Police and legal carriers generally have it in a holster on their belt or in a shoulder holster. Criminals generally hide it in a pocket or waist band although some legal carriers have a small pocket pistol.
Probably more people have small caliber pocket pistols than you would think.

Depends on how the guy looked and acted? If he looked like a scum bag or a criminal or he just looked like an idiot i would feel more scared. If it were a nicer well put together guy that was maybe dress up and looked like he had his life together then i would feel more comfortable that he would be trained a little more and think a little more rationaly then the crazy guy. lol.

I guess it would depend, if he had a gold toof, saggy jeans and a dew rag and a lucy stuck behind his ear, I woudl probably be less comfortable, it is was a nice dressed, clean cut person, i would feel more comfortable

If he were sporting a law enforcement badge, I would feel safer. If not, I would take my food and eat in my car.
