pregnancy test result?
I am due on tomorrow(ish) just done a clear blue pregnancy test, the line appeared in the control window and then the horizontal line appeared in the window very dark, then after a minute (possibly less) a very faint vertical line appeared. i then did a digital test and it said not pregnant am i right to assume not pregnant? Could it be possible thata faint line sometimes appears when not pregnant? advise please especially if thjis has happened to you!
xx
i have to say, the line is extremely faint, i am thinking it may be an outline/shadow that is always there?? lol!

A faint line just means that u r pregnant.. congrats.. again test tomo morning with first urine, because ur hcg levels will be high only in that.. after urine samples will not have tht much hcg levels, so good luck to u... test again tomo and see the result.. it will definitely be a positive...
goodluck and baby dust to u...

Hi,
I believe that you are pregnant. A faint line is still a line and that means a positive result!
I think the reason it is light is because maybe you have miscalculated the dates you due on.
I bet if you were to retest tomorrow using a normal pregnancy test and not a digital test - the line will appear a little darker.
Congratulations hun!!!
P.S I tested a few days before my period was due using a normal pregnancy test and it was a very faint line. Retested the next day using a digital - 4 days before period due and it flashed up positive. I then waited till period was due and tested again - still positive and now pregnant with my second child and so excited!!!

The reason why you got a faint positive with the equate or e.p.t test is because it's 25 mIu while the digital tests are between 40-60 mIu. So, they are not as sensitive as the lined tests. I'd try using another lined test and see what happens. You definitely sound like you are pregnant by what you described with the test! Congrats Mommy!!! =)

You can always receive false negatives when testing, but never a false positive. This is what happened to me. If you are pregnant you are so early that your hormone levels are not high enough to detect. Wait a few more days and take the digital test again. I did this and I was in fact pregnant!

The digital test are not every sensative you have to have more HCG in your urine, so i would not go buy that!
A line is a line girl as long as it appears within the time limit! So it sounds like you are preggo!!! :) Congrats!

all tests pick up different hcg levels if there is a faint line then it is usually a positiv, it would be faint if you have tested early and most tests won't pick up before a period is due, wait a few days and take another onex

I would say you are pregnant. the digital needs more HcG to become positive.

you are still very early so the test might not pick it up yet, if you got a positive with one, then you are pregnant, just very early!

No I think you are pregnant. It seems that you did your first test with concentrated urine.
