Runescape Player Moderators?

I have been invited to be a runescape player moderator twice now, but they ask for personal details, which I'm not sure will be secure. I was wondering what are the bonuses, and what are the negatives for becoming a player moderator? Do you end up worse off for giving out your details?

Personal details usually mean country, first name, last name, secondary email type of stuff. If they ask for phone numbers and adresses, I wouldn't do it. The durthest you should go is zip code or city. There are no negatives. You simply make sure everyone is in line and you get paid runescape gold... Atleast that was what it was like 6 months ago, havent played forever... If you are part of the staff, tell them to take down the effects and everything, I can't log on cause it lags too much...

do you see what you are doing? buying into jagex's ploys to make everyone behave. They know that people want to have a spot of power in the game above the rest. and in-turn you are being a moderator for them without begin appointed the title. And not causing problems and playing the game with-in the rules. Just play the game and have fun, dont waste your time reporting people in world 1 everyday in hopes of being a mod. just forgot about it, and if it happens, great, if not oh well. and beside, jagex is a terrible company, and there is so many better games out there you could be wasting your life away on!

    1. Was it in a ingame message (or through website messages).

    or Email?

If email then report it to jagex via customer support as its a phisher's email.
