Nascar Nation. what any and all die cast cars do you have? which one is your favorite?

how many diecast cars do you have? also, with all the new cars and drivers getting new sponsors, and paint schemes, which die cast car of 2009 do you hope to get this year?

also are there any diecast cars not in your collection you'd like to get?

note: since becoming a Nascar fan three years ago, i've become a fanatic when it comes to Nascar diecast cars. i've got a bedroom chalk full of diecast cars. so bare with me when i'm asking you all about diecast cars. it's just so fun and addicting.

I have 998 1:24 cast and thousands of 1:64 and even right at 150 1:44 scale die cast. I have all of Jeff Gordon's ,Jimmie Johnson's,almost all of Dale Sr.'s & Jr's. Also Terry Labonte,Bill Elliott and a hole lot of Richard Petty's. I started collecting in the early 70's and will admit that it has gotten out of hand. I have them in display cases ,closets , mini storage and even in my garage. I am lucky that my wife is into Nascar because my house looks like a Nascar Store !

My current favorite is tough. I have a 2008 Dale Jr. National Guard car, regular scheme and a reed sorenson 1st win raced version busch car(1/24). Junior's is my favorite. i also have the 2009 ARMY Ryan newman car 1/64. sweet car. Jeff Burton's CAT car is #2 on my 1/64 list. Ohhhh, soon I hope to get a Brian Vickers 1/64, a Joey Logano 1/64, to preorder an A.J. Allmendinger Valvoline car, and a David Reutimann dream machine, maybe even a David Ragan UPS Freight car(1/64), and to try and get the Carl Edwards All Star car(1/24). That was one sweet looking car! Martin Truex's turkey car was cool too.

I have around a hundred 1/24th scale Nascar die-cast and a few of the dirt modifieds, late-models and sprints. Mostly Dale Earnhardt, Bill Elliott and Mark Martin.

My favorites are Elliott Sadlers signed Texas race win car, Mark Martins signed Jim Mcgill Monte Carlo and Mark Martins Hartley Truck parts signed Camaro.

I would love to find a good deal on the Scotts CTS at some time and maybe get that sucker autographed as well.

I probably have 20 or so, some from the 70's like Yarbrough's Hardees car. I have some Craftsman Trucks, and some of the newer Cup cars. My favorite is the 2001 Pepsi 400 Baseball All-Star car that Jr. drove from Daytona.

I haven't gotten any of the COT yet, that car has taken some time to grow on me, but I will get a few this year. The National Guard Car, probably the Jack Daniels car, and one of the Red Bull cars.

Don't know how many? Only Smoke...I have EVERY special paint scheme he's run in Cup.(1/24) I have EVERY raced win car.(1/24) I have every standard paint.(1/64...needed to save room) I have EVERY Busch/Nationwide car.(1/24...including some customs that were never produced by Action/MA)

I also have various cars...IRL, GTP, USAC midget & sprint, Latemodels, Crafstman Truck, IROC and Test cars in EVERY scale.(1/18, 1/24, 1/32, 1/43, 1/64, 1/87) You guys who are fans of drivers who only race in Cup are lucky...you don't have to collect all these different cars to have a complete collection.

Favorite? Don't know if I have ONE?

Powerade car is cool. I like the Sara Evans Craftsman Truck, too. The Beast midget that he won the Triple Crown is good. The '06 IROC Champion car is good, too. The Mernards car he won the '97 IRL Championship is cool, too.

And, if you think that's bad...don't get me started on hats(probably about 50) and T-Shirts!(probably about TWICE that many)

I have a crapload of 1/64th scale cars a lot of Dale Jr and Truex Jr, sadly my budget for 1/24th scales limits me for the 1/24th to the Wal-Mart stuff of which I have a clear plastic Amp car, the Mountain Dew car from Darlington, Jr's Dale Sr tribute car, Truex's Busch car and Kasey Kahne's Dew car. The exception to this is a 2003 Jeff Gordon, Pepsi Billion Dollar car, that I scammed off someone at a flea market for $4.

  • I have over 600 1:24 scale (mostly Earnhardt, but a good mix of other dirvers too) and over 1000 1:64 of every driver I coud find. Of them all only about 5% are from retail stores (Hot Wheels, Racing Champions, Winners Circle). The ones I would like are the only Earnhardtcars I am missing: Both '81 Pontiacs, '84 Reverse paint scheme, and the '87 (1:24 of course). I have them in a spare room lining all the walls and a display case in the middle of the room.

Too many to name....but I have several from the 80's to now.

Yeah, I'll be picking up all three different versions of the #43 McDonald's/AirForce/Valvoline...if all three of them are made...which I

    assume they will be.

Nope, not really I mainly only collect #43's and I have one from every

year since 1981. All different scales but mainly 1/24. I used to collect

everything I could find back in the 90's but after marriage and two kids had to cut back drastically...so now I get a new #43 every year. But you are right it is fun and addictive!

    Just an opinion as always.
