How often does an average person check their email?

Depends which account/service.

At work, I more or less am constantly checking it -- dual monitors, and the client is always running.

At home with my personal accounts (of which I have about a dozen, with various services), I'll check some every few days, and others perhaps once a month.

I suspect I'm far from average, but there you are. *grin*

I check mine every day mon-fri and usually Five-Six times a day. I stay away from emails and calls on weekends.lol.

I have a plug in for firefox called "WebMail Notifier" it check my emails automatically every 10 minutes

so i don't have to check my email

every thing is automatic :)

our campus sends out about 50 e-mails a day... so i check it about 5 or 6 times a day... (to delete the junk and keep important e-mails)... probably more than the average person...

i check mine everytime i get an email,but i get an alert sent to me...so i have to say about once every 2 or 3 days unless its apart of their job

I check my several times a day, but less on the weekend.

I try and answer mine daily. I have friends that i email in class and i don't get in trouble for it, but if i miss something then im in trouble. But yea, it's become a daily thing for me.
