I wouldn't, unless you can scan for a virus before it downloads and opens like mine. It could harm your computer or be absolutely nothing. I would be safe than sorry, so don't open it. The purpose of the thing was probably for people to question whether to open it or not...

Good luck. Hope you make the right decision.

To the person that was above me that said it would have taken a long time to type that, he/she probably ctrl + c , then ctrl + v (copy & paste)

Bin it, if it wont open, your not missing out on anything except a nasty virus, never read or open any file attachments on emails that you don't know where they came from, if it is something really important, the person will find another way to tell you, people used to actually speak and write to each other before emails came along

If you don't know who it is just delete it, it looks pretty weird though. As for the attachment, that's a wise move you made by not opening it as it could contain a virus.

I wouldn't open it, it sounds too weird to be true.

If you can, scan the e-mail and file attached with an anti-virus program if you want to open it. If not, do not download the attachment.

The simple answer is if you are not sure about emails then do not open them,it must have taken you ages to type that lot into your question

  • 1 decade ago

do not open it as may contain a virus just be aware that there are some nasty people out there and think that is great fun

  • 1 decade ago

if you dont know who sent it or where it came from, the best advice is to NOT open any attachments

  • 1 decade ago

delete it as it will probably have all sorts of nasties that will fcuk your computer up and cost loads to fix
