Is there a way to make an HTML file with Calibri font as beautiful as it should be when view in Firefox?

I found it very nice in Internet Explorer, OK in Safari, but terrible in Firefox and a few new browsers. Any Firefox add-ons to help with this?

As usual, many thanks in advance!

Update:

No custom fonts? At all?

Update 2:

Thanks for the answers. I did not make myself clear... I did not mean the looks in the text editor itself. I mean the HTML page.

For example: in CSS

p{ font-family: Calibri, sans serif; font-size:10.5pt;}

resulted in a beautiful paragraph of HTML file but only in IE, not in FF.

Update 3:

Thanks for all the answers. After posting this Q I went off to search for something to improve the looks of Calibri in FF (at least for my own PC) and have found a great way:

Right-click Desktop|Properties|Appearance|Effects|Click second Check Box|Select Clear Type.

Now my Firefox shows beautiful Calibri! The same as my IE does! Thanks for all the suggestions anyway.

Update 4:

Thanks, Movie_!

Very interesting!

Update 5:

@Geoff: LOL!

If you had not used Calibri font in your Microsoft Word Newsletter I would not have started learning anything.

    You can use custom fonts within HTML, that degrade nicely, if the user doesn't have flash or javascript enabled.

    You can try to use sIFR. I have used this with great luck, for beautiful font rendering.

    Or

    Typeface.js

    Calvin is correct. If you need to have a custom font for a title you would need to make it an image.

    No custom fonts in HTML, please.

    Not all computers have same font set.

    Yes there is a way but it means you have to dance naked, in a patch of stinging nettles at the stroke of midnight on a full moon. Care to test the theory?
