How do you like the recent change at photobucket?
As for me I do not think photobucket's adding the strings to the file names helpful. Hackers still can find ways to hack or fusker or phish - whatever. And we non-hackers have to put up with the names of our own pics that we have no way to memorize.

1 AnswerProgramming & Design9 years agoHow do you like the latest Yahoo Mail?
I switched to Yahoo Mail beta a couple of times in the past few months but had to switch back to classic sooner afterwards due to frequent freezing of the beta. This morning I was made to switch to the new classic without the way back! Not sure if the problem at Yahoo is gone. So far I experienced the lag a few times already! Could it be my internet? But it was not this obvious when I used the older version of Yahoo Mail.
1 AnswerOther - Yahoo Products10 years agoHow many towns or cities are there that have the name "Plymouth"?
I only know there is one in the UK, and at least 3 in the USA (MA, IN, CA).
I also have heard that there is a "New Plymouth", but could not remember which country it is in.
4 AnswersOther - United States1 decade agoNation-wide charitable food group?
Do you have nation-wide charitable food groups in your area / country? I help a very new charitable food group, DCCFG (The Devon and Cornwall Charitable Food Group - http://dccfg.webs.com/ ) with the website (as a volunteer) and wonder if there are other similar organizations like it outside the UK? It looks like the work at DCCFG will involve lots of coordination and cooperation.
1 AnswerCommunity Service1 decade agoAnything wrong with photobucket today? Could it be my PC / internet? I could not upload any picture.?
Never happened before.
3 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoSearch engine question?
When we do the search on the internet we usually type the words and search either for the websites, the articles, or for the pictures. My question is, how do we do the search (on the internet) when what we we have are only pictures. For example, I have a picture of an exotic plant but I do not know the plant's name. Or a picture of a beautiful bird but no one can tell me the name of the bird. A set of beautiful lake pics without where these lakes are located.

Currently I only know HTML 4.01 and CSS3 and am wondering if HTML5 will make it easier to write webpages.
5 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoHTML Validation by HTML Tidy and W3C Markup Validation Service?
My HTML got validated by HTML Tidy but not by W3C Markup Validation Service. It would be validated if I convert these symbols below into codes:
"
'
-
Shall I convert? Is it necessary? It would take a lot of time to convert them. (I use Notepad.)
The pages are in English. No other foreign languages. No embedded complicated stuff.
The doctype is
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
and I have this below in the head section:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
The webpages looked alright in major browsers in Windows. Not sure about Mac or others.
I wonder if it is worthy of the time to "correct" the errors in order to be validated by W3C.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
5 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoIn HTML 4.01 why does <br style="line-height:50px;"> not work after <img src="...">?
Unless I put this <p style="line-height:50px;"><br></p> after <img src="...">, which looks stupid as <br><br> would be a lot easier.
What have I missed? Thanks in advance for your answers.
5 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoI saw a good answer and wanted to give a thumb-up but I went too fast and ticked the wrong one. How to change?
It was a good answer. I felt so bad for my mistake!
6 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoA "charset" question: Which is more "convenient"?
ISO-8859-1 vs. utf-8... Which is better for an "ordinary" HTML (4.01) file? The original document is in English; no other non-English characters in the document.
3 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoHow can I take a screenshot that also shows the cursor?

( I know how to add a cursor later on. )

2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoIs there a way to make an HTML file with Calibri font as beautiful as it should be when view in Firefox?
I found it very nice in Internet Explorer, OK in Safari, but terrible in Firefox and a few new browsers. Any Firefox add-ons to help with this?
As usual, many thanks in advance!
5 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoDo we need to put down system identifier when writing html?
For example, in case of this:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd%22%3E
What if I only wrote this:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN">
What (bad) effect will this have?
Thanks in advance for the answers!
