When do you put an underline in front of a selector in CSS?
Have seen such way of writing CSS and do not really understand what this means.
For example:
p {
_font-family: .........;
}
instead of
p {
font-family: ........;
}
What can the underline as shown above affect the CSS?

To put underline in front of a selector as above
or
to add comments in
< [ ] >?
(I have never tried any.)

This is usually a hack aimed at Internet Explorer.
IE will read as css property starting with _ as _font-family when Firefox or other decent browser will ignore it.
