I need to get the blue outta my hair?

I put some blue in my hair and it just isn't what I thought it would be. It just isn't me. So...I want it out. It's temporary color, but I didn't know if their was another way to get it out faster than just waiting for it to wash out. I just got a LOT of highlights, so bleaching is out, so I wanted to know if there was some trick to getting it out. Thanks!

I would just dye it another color but if you do not want to do that, maybe you can try fading the blue out. Using dandruff, oil reducing or a clarifying shampoo would definitely help to get rid of it. Hot oil treatments also strip hair color out because of the acidity in the oil. You can use hot olive oil if you wanted. And washing hair with hot water would help as well. Dish washing soap also strips color away. Using the hot water and dish washing soap will damage or dry hair so be sure to condition afterwards. If all else fails, there are products designed for this like Loreal's Color Zap.

But the longer you have had the color, the harder it is going to be to get rid of it. Its easiest to remove the color within the first week.
