One of the boys is into politics and government and war, the other is into music and the arts, Both girls enjoy pretty much anything. We need to be able to analyze the book.

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck is a very fun book to analyze. It's full of symbolism and meaning.

The Things We Carried by Tim O'brien. It's mostly about war stuff.
But it does have a little bit of love history between him and his wife if I recall.
