Why is it racist if a European country like Germany or Norway says it doesn't want immigrants?

It's not about race, it's about culture. I've been to Germany and black people and asian people aren't really a bad thing. No offense to anybody but it's the Muslims that are disrespectful to Germany and don't assimilate. They just spit on Germany, Europe, and the West. Why are the allowed to come there? I'm a German and it broke my heart to see my country being spat upon by some immigrant groups. They should really stop immigration from some countries... like Turkey.

Maybe if Europe had stayed out of Africa and Asia and America in the colonial days you'd have a point, but they didn't. The idea of nation states doesn't hold up in a world of international travel. Hey, what if all the native americans wanted to ship home all the Germanic immigrants, would that be fine as well? Or maybe you need to look at the patterns of population drift within Europe, many of the Poles would say that you're on their land.

It's all good until you say that other Europeans can't go to those countries. It would be great if Europe would be united against immigration, but what you want is a division between Europeans who all share a history and a culture.

Since when have Germany and Norway said that. For a start there is a European Union policy which regulates immigration. It is no longer up to the individual countries, so leave Germany out of the equation.
