My mother does childcare and she charges 35 dollars per day per child. So, per week is 175 (mon-fri).
I babysit and I charge 5 dollars per hour for 2 children. An additional 1.50 for more than 2 kids per child:
5/per hour ~ 2 kids
6.50/per hour ~ 3 kids
8.00/per hour ~ 4 kids
ect...
I also charge a flat rate of 50 dollars (8hours+), for 2 kids.

I guess this depends on where you live and the cost of surrounding daycare. I think 100 a week is cheap, it also depends on how many hours a day and the age of the child. The younger the child the more expensive, in Maryland, the most common price for an infant for daycare is 200 and for a preschooler 140 and it gets cheaper as they get older, because it is less responsibility for the care taker. Also sometimes you get what you pay for, the less you pay, sometimes less is provided. I had my 2 year old in a daycare where it was 140 and they Only provided snacks, i had to bring breakfast and lunch, the teacher and provider turnover rate was horrible, 5 teachers in 3 months, my daughter started having night terrors and did not want to go back. i switched her to Kinder Care Learning Center a reputable center, and the cost is $235 per week, but they provide breakfast, snacks, and very healthy lunches, as well as wash her sheets and pillows every week, unlike the other daycare, the teachers have been there 5 years or more, and my daughter Absolutely loves going to school everyday, and she learned so much more. So sometimes it depends on the care center, or if it is home based. Hope this helps

Yes it really depends on the amount of hours your babysitter would be expected to work and the duties. I have a nanny for my son and she folds and puts his clothes away, gives him baths if needed, fixes and feeds him meals. My son is 2. If your child is older and the babysitter will have less duties than that's also something to take into consideration. But if I were a babysitter and someone told me I the pay was $100 a week my first question would be "what are the duties and how many hours?" I've included the link to site that helps you decide what you should pay your sitter and a link more about nannies but it has some wonderful information I'm sure you could use regarding writing up contracts and so forth. It also depends on what state or area you reside in and the age of your sitter. For sitters about 16 years old I personally would pay $8 an hour atleast, I believe to stay at minimum wage or close to it. Hope this helps and good luck!

The hike in petrol price was necessitated because of increase in prices of crude oil in the international market, Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said. "The price of crude oil in the international market has touched $90 a barrel. Petrol prices have been deregulated already. So the hike in price was in parity with international prices," Mukherjee said. While consumers are undoubtedly unhappy and the country's opposition political parties have begun to exploit this unhappiness, the Union government had no option but to hike petrol prices. Analysts say that there is no convincing case for subsidising petrol, even if there can still be some case for subsidising diesel and kerosene. These are all old arguments that have been gone through for over a decade now. It was the so-called 'R group', headed by economist Vijay Kelkar, a former petroleum secretary, that first laid out the road map for deregulation of petrol and petroleum product prices over a decade ago, said a Business Standard report some days ago. The argument is based on the simple principle that an import-dependent nation like India cannot afford to encourage excessive consumption of energy based on unrealistically low prices. =========================== Butter Flutter

I have a nanny but she comes a few times a week . When i drop my kids at the babysitters I pay usually $150 per child which is quite cheap .
So here is how much my babysitter charges me .
2 yo girl : $120 a week .
4yo boy : $100 a week
7 yo girl : $100 a week
so yes $100 a week is a fair price

Depends on some different things.
1. How long is the child in daycare
2. Is the daycare licensed/CPR/First Aid/food handlers
3. What do they provide, do you have to provide food/diapers/other
4. How old are the children
In some situations one hundred bucks would be too much, other circumstances; way too little.

No, I pay $278 a week and I do not have any infants. When my 3rd child is born, if I put them in day care full time it would be $400/week and my oldest would not be there 2 days for 4k.

That doesn't sound too expensive to me. That would be $20 per day and if lunch and snacks are included it sounds reasonable. I suppose sections of the country could be different.

Depending on how old the child is. Babies are a little bit more because they have more to be done....diapers, bottles etc. But older kids that is a great price.

thats a great price. make sure its quality care.
I know people who pay like 250 a week per kid.
Thats high end though.
My sis did day care for awhile she charged like 3.25 hr. and I know people locally here who charge 4.25-5.25 hr. But they have facilities and stuff.
Good luck
