how to turn off rca universal guideplus remote?
its driving me nuts. i don't want to use the grid on it... i have cable so this remote only interferes with my tv watching. anyone know how to turn OFF the guideplus capability?

First, get the guide up on your TV screen...
THEN look for the Guide's Menu settings, because IN THE MENU you will find a setting that allows you to turn OFF the display or stop it from popping up when you first turn on your TV set...
Depending on the model of RCA TV you have will determine how the Settings mode is accessed....
Some have the SETTINGS mode pop up on the left side of the GUIDE, some have it at the top bar...
