whats this thing on my laptop for?

i have a DELL latitude D620 and there's a square on the bottom of the screen half (not ON the screen, but right under it, and above the "lock" lights (scroll lock, # lock, CAP lock) what is it? if you cant see very well, it looks sorta like the built in web cams on the newer Mac computers. http://s574.photobucket.com/albums/ss183/trevorCM9...

    its a cap that covers the screw that keeps the laptop together lol
