Seeing Visions of Heaven/God - what would that indicate?
Just interested to know different views from Atheists, Believers, Agnositics.
This is a young girl of 12, who between the ages of 4 and 7 was shown visions of heaven and was able to see and speak with God.
God told her to paint what she had seen in her visions. Age 6 she started painting Age 8 she did her first painting of God, and then followed on with paintings of heaven.
This video shows some of her paintings.

What do you make of it? Her paintings seem quite remarkable for one so young.
Is she really seeing God and Heaven? If not then what could be the explanation?

Akiane stuff is valid. Her experiences with God and the visions are real. I was given interpretation of the one of pyramids. But she is young and some things are she paints are just symbols. Jesus was not a handsome as she paints him. The Bible says so. Still, I do not think there is anything wrong with her "seeing" him with such rosy vision. Like I said, she is very young. What is does tell is the state of our world. That God has to chose such a young child, and a girl to reveal Himself to. And that she can do well, with so little, when grown men (of God?) could not. It also speaks of what those who have oversight of her should have been doing to care for the servants with such gifts up till God resorted to using a child this way. I pray she stays on track. For the sake of His Name, I pray God keeps her on the track of His good will.

She's a very talented young girl if (and that is if) she really painted those pictures. I feel however that the images of God she painted (assuming she meant Jesus, the name never came up in the video) seems too European Caucasian to be that of a Jewish man from Galilee of 2000 years ago. I'm an agnostic which mean that I think that we could never prove or disprove the existence of God. Was it God who inspired her? Only she knows the truth about that. Personally I don't think so.

She certainly has talent. I don't believe for a minute she's seen visions of god and heaven though - that idea will have come from her upbringing. Her painting of the Prince of Peace looks suspiciously like Barry Manilow with a beard (wonder if her mother is a fan!).

Amazing. Jesus is white! Mary is very white!

Why doesn't God tell one of these people something useful - a cure for cancer or AIDS, how to get a sustainable nuclear fusion reaction going, something that we currently cannot do and that no-one who isn't trained in that field could possibly know.
And stop appearing on toast.

She has, like St Paul before her, had an attack of temporal lobe epilepsy. This is typically what happens when people think they have had a religious experience. The human brain experiences a dreadful shock, and tries to rationalise it, and the only thing which makes sense is that it must have been a religious experience

That is quite remarkable. Her paintings are great, she is quite gifted. I rather doubt she is seeing any gods or heaven though.

I have several remarkable dreams, some include really peculiar episodes with Jesus. I could use many to inspire art, but I choose not to. I think these are dreams.
