~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Simply do this. Be still, and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is. Empty your mind of every thought and concept you hold dear. Know nothing. Hold on to nothing. Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever learned from anything. It is to this unsealed and open mind that Truth returns, unhindered and unbound. Where concepts of the Self have been laid by is Truth revealed exactly as it is. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ .
  • Side effects for cats on steroids for long periods of time. Information please.?
    .
    I'm hoping to hear from anyone who has had a cat who has been on a low dose of steroids for life, or for a long period of time.
    Or to hear from a veterinarian who has had such an animal under his/her care for many years.
    In my cat's case, the dosage is 1.25mg per day. He is 8 years old and has now been taking the steroids at this dosage for 1 year. He will need to take them for the rest of his life.
    In the past he has had dosages of up to 17.5 mg a day for 4 months at a time. But now he is stable on the small maintenance dose of 1.25mg a day.
    But I am wondering what the long term effects might be.
    In your experience what have been the long term health risks to watch out for? Did it shorten your cat's life? Did your cat become obese?
    All first hand information gratefully received.
    Thank you.
  • Can an .exe file become contaminated with a Trojan.?
    .
    I have had tnplus.exe sitting happily on my computer for 7 years. It is the .exe file for TurboNotes
    In a Nortons Scan last night, Nortons suddenly decided that this tnplus.exe was a Trojan and removed it from my computer.
    Is it possible for an already existing .exe file to become contaminated with a Trojan, or is this result more likely to be a false positive?
    I have tried googling without success.
    Thank you.
  • Not receiving Contacts Questions?
    Except for 3 days in November, I haven't received any Contacts Questions emails for about 3 months.
    Even the 3 days in November the Questions were all 2 weeks old.
    Has anyone else had this longterm problem and found a solution?
    Could it be anything to do with having 3rd Party Cookies disabled? Does it need a cache clearout?
    I've tried resetting my options to no avail.
    Does anyone have any other ideas that might help?
    Thanks in advance for your help. It will be much appreciated.
  • Horse with thin coat after Ragwort Poisoning?
    One of the wild ponies that live on Dartmoor came to our Animal Sanctuary in the Spring.
    He had severe Ragwort poisoning and the vet said he should be euthanised.
    We treated him with Milk Thistle over the following 4 months and he has pulled through and is doing well. He is lively frisky and happy, but he is clearly lonely for his herd.
    The problem is that during the early stages of the ragwort poisoning most of his coat fell out, leaving huge sores all over his body. The sores have healed completely using a spray solution of Calendula tincture, but the coat still refuses to grow back properly in these areas, which cover about 40% of his body.
    Unless we can find something that will encourage his coat to grow back to full thickness before the winter, he will not be able to be re-released back on to the moors to rejoin his herd as his coat will not be thick enough to endure the winter months.
    If anyone has experience of ragwort poisoning and what might help his coat to regrow, I would be very grateful.
    There is nothing in conventional veterinary therapy that can help, so I am looking for any alternative suggestions if possible.
  • Cigarette Lighter drained battery flat?
    I have a 10 year old Toyota Starlet. The cigarette lighter has never been used.
    1 week ago I bought a SAT NAV, and briefly plugged it into the lighter to see if it worked.
    It was only plugged in for 2 minutes and then unplugged again.
    Since then my car battery has drained down to flat. It was a fairly new battery.
    Would this indicate that there is an electrical fault somewhere, and that by plugging into the lighter I have triggered some sort of connection that continues to drain the battery even though the SAT NAV is not now plugged in.
    I appreciate any thoughts you may have on this. Thank you.
  • Seeing Visions of Heaven/God - what would that indicate?
    Just interested to know different views from Atheists, Believers, Agnositics.
    This is a young girl of 12, who between the ages of 4 and 7 was shown visions of heaven and was able to see and speak with God.
    God told her to paint what she had seen in her visions. Age 6 she started painting Age 8 she did her first painting of God, and then followed on with paintings of heaven.
    This video shows some of her paintings.
    http://www.artakiane.com/vid-cnn-spiritualyoungart...
    What do you make of it? Her paintings seem quite remarkable for one so young.
    Is she really seeing God and Heaven? If not then what could be the explanation?
  • Is it possible that human bodies can live to a 1000 years. ?
    The early people in the Bible all lived for a very long time, some up to nearly a 1000 years.
    Do you believe this was really possible that a body could exist in good health for that length of time? Don't organs have a limited life span? Can a heart really keep on beating for a 1000 years.
    Or do you think these great ages mentioned are mistranslations or misinterpretations?
  • Who Created Hell. Was It God or The Devil?
    Does anyone know if it says in the Bible who created Hell?
    I know God is supposed to have created everything. And also I suppose it must be God who when we die, decides whether we go to hell or heaven.
    But it seems a strange idea if God did deliberately create somewhere so awful.
    I know there are people who know their Bibles really well and might be able to answer my question.
    Did God make Hell to send the Devil to? And how can the Devil come in and out of Hell at will. But other people can't and have to stay there. And why doesn't God make the Devil stay in Hell.
    Sorry so many questions, but I'm not clear on this at all. Thanks.
  • How Long Can I Safely Give My Cat 17mg of Prednisone Daily?
    My cat has a 7 year old Eosonophillia skin condition. Since a kitten.
    I used to take him to the Vet for steroid injections when it got very bad. But now the Vet gives me steroid tablets Prednisone for him and says to use my own judgement as to how long I should continue with the tablets each time.
    He has been on them for 15 days now, and his skin is 75% better, but he still has sore raw patches in some areas.
    I want to continue until it is all cleared up, but wasn't sure how long it is safe to give the Prednisone for.
    My Vet is on Holiday until mid January so I can't ask him.
    My cat weighs 16lbs. and is 7 years old.
    Any suggestions much appreciated.
