Is Obama behind the continuing increases in Gas prices?
Does he have friends in the oil industry or WHY is he allowing these gas prices to continue to increase in such poor economic conditions?
PEOPLE: GET A CLUE .... gas prices were down to $1.39/gal in AZ .. now they continue to climb and today hit $1.86. WHY is OBAMA doing this?
AND it is SO funny that NOW you say not any one person controlls this ... yet for EIGHT YEARS we have heard that it was ALL BUSH's fault that the gas prices were going up !?!?!?!?

Here in Northern Nevada (Reno) it's back up to @ $2.11 a Gal.
Seems like a conspiracy to me. Cigarette tax, gas tax. The libs are trying to control us in every regard. Whatever they don't like they tax to death to try to force us to change to their way. What they DO like they fund - like abortions for the whole world. See a pattern here?

maximum politicians and presidents have pals in the Oil agencies and Oil Fields. it incredibly is no longer in elementary terms Bush as some choose to make it look, it incredibly is the two Dems and Reps. sure Obama very needless to say has pals in the Oil agencies that he's making an attempt to conceal, yet an straightforward recognize-how of the place a great number of his campaign contributions got here from till now he gained the well-known could help recognize that. despite the fact that, you're falsely assuming that the Oil agencies are placing the Oil fees. sure, Obama does have some thing to do with it. His Environmental stances at the instant are not encouraging the Oil Speculators to believe that the U. S. will start up ANWAR and rancid-Shore drilling as Bush did, it is raising the fee of oil slightly on the 2d. despite the fact that, the shortcoming of world call for and the severe reducing of production from OPEC is likewise using those fees up.

Obama's got his side kick saying it's patriotic to pay taxes while Obama picks turn out to be tax dodgers. So, could be Obama's behind the gas rise or just that his ideas are even getting Big Oil nervous. Kinda " Make the bucks before the bottom falls out!"

Obama doesn't control the price of gas. No more than George W. Bush did when the oil price shot through the roof.

In my neighborhood, gas prices are stabilizing. They have hovered between 1.60 and 1.80 for the past few months. As the dollar continues to depreciate, the price of fuel will go up. Still not nearly as much as it did under Bush.
EDIT: Bush did have a lot to do with the extreme energy price increase of the past 8 years. He and the Republicans are the ones that OK'ed the deregulation of electronic commodities trading so that million dollar hedge funds and large energy corporations could jack the price of fuel up. Dick Cheney isthe one who met with Enron andthe major enery corporation back in 2001 and basically told them that they would have full reign over the market without any government intervention. Bush is the one sitting in Crawford Texas right now driving around in his Ford Excursion and Hummer on his farm while the tax payers are still paying for the gas that goes in it.

The US/world economy is much bigger than any one person. According to Adam Smith, it is the invisible hand principle of economics that drives the price of commodities such as gasoline prices.
