The primary imperative before answering this question is to define success. In terms of religion, the Philippine Revolution was an abysmal failure: Santiago Compostella is still located in Spain; would a successful revolution signify the right to relocate the site to the Philippines by force or by spirit? This is reasonable enough to explain the lack of recognition of the Philippine Churches by those who is apt to give these blesses. In terms of economics, & politics the situation of the Philippines in Asia is apparent enough to be given a description. In terms of indigenous pride, the Philippines perhaps are successful in the manner they desire to be directing their lifestyles, like the hip-hop entrepreneurs Flo Rida, Mary J. Blige, and Black Eye Peas or like the rock & roll sensations Foo Fighters, Good Charlotte and Slipknot.
