Does the XBOX 360 come with Warranty?

I was just wondering if the Xbox 360 already comes with warranty when you buy it because the guy at the shop said that you could buy warranty from MS for 3 yrs which was $150 but I dint get it. I just want to know if the 360 comes with warranty anyway

    Yes, it comes with a 1 year warranty with every console purchased (excludes used consoles) and you can buy the 3 year warranty which would set you back $150.00 (which you already know) which is the extended warranty.

    The 360 comes with a 1 year warranty from MS when you buy it.
