What does "bi partisan" mean to the democrats?

Seems to me that all Dems voting the same way isn't.

Update:

20 of you seem to agree that Bi-partisan" is just another why the politicians on both sides lie to us.

Why do we take it?

In my opinion, it means "do as I say and not as I do".

There is no bi-partisanship on either side, the Democrats don't do it and the Repubicans didn't do it when they were in power.

It's a never ending cycle. One party wins, they mess up and get booted out of office. The other party comes in and does exactly the same thing.

When Republicans disagree with Democrats they are partisan obstructionists. When they do agree with Democrats, they are bi-partisan heroes.

When they are in the minority they block nearly every nominee the Republican President choose stooping to even filibustering to stop Supreme Court nominees from even coming up for a vote (because they would have passed). But if Republicans just want to be included in the process they are seen as partisan hacks.

This is Liberal-speak. It is a new and ever developing language.

The liberal Dems are compromising and so are the moderate Republicans and Democrats; its the neoconservative and social conservative Republicans that will not budge. To me its is only a reminder of why a majority of these types of Republicans did not win re-election.

It means Democrats get their way and the few Republicans who go along will be used as stooges by the Democrats to blame the entire Republican party for everything that goes wrong.

Simple. Make the repubs and inds conform to them. Then it was a bi-partisan decision.

It means naive democrats inviting Republicans to stab them in the back. And they will. They have not missed an opportunity since Tom DeLay ran the House.

Funny how you never voiced your opinion when the Republicans voted as a single block when they were in power.

    Double standard, perhaps?

What's your agenda (as if that's not obvious already)?

bi partisan means the republicans should shut up and be like Democrats.

The only way to fix America is to be like a Democrat.

The right wingers are going to have to change.

bi partisan means folks on both sides are all going to be Democrats together and fix my country.

Bipartisan means trying to work with the other side.Which Obama tried with the republicans in Congress. He cut the pork they wanted and gave tax cuts they wanted. Then not a single one voted for it!

All of which make republicans look like nothing more then obstructionist hypocrites! Because no matter what they had already decided they weren't voting for it no matter what!
