Wow.. My baby girl is two months old (be 10 weeks tomorrow). She haven't got a schedule yet. But it would be nice. I am breastfeeding her so she eats every 2 to 2 1/2 hours. She seem to take several naps during the day. Tuesday to Friday. Her and I take a morning nap together. She mostly in her bouncer seat or her swing or I holding her. I talk to her for good while has well and play with her. Monday afternoon she be in her car seat while my 4 year old is in speech therapy and OT and she mostly naps then.

Well if baby is tired, he will go to sleep whethe rits on the schedule or not so I wouldnt be too worried. My daughter has half a planned schedule, and half her own.
8-8:30 wake up, change diaper
8:30-9:00 playtime in jumper while I make her bottle and cereal
9-9:20 (within that time period) Bottle and cereal
Playtime after until she starts to get tired.
10:00-11:00ish she usually takes a nap
12:00-I offer her a bottle if she hasn't had one since the 9:00 time frame
Playtime after on the floor, practice sitting etc
2:30ish: I offer her a bottle if hasn't wanted one since her noon bottle
3:00-3:30 usually takes a nap
4:00-5:00 Playtime wherever
5:30-Playtime with daddy while I make supper, usually has bottle
6:00-6:30 Mom and Dad eat and she sit in her chair at the table
6:30-7:00 Cereal
8:00- Bathtime
8:30- Rocking time before bed
11:00pm- Sometimes gets up for bottle, sometimes doesnt.
3:00 am-Up for bottle sometimes
Note: my baby is also 9 months old

Sounds fine to me... as long as the baby is happy, and you are happy.. go for it. Most babies require a morning nap, but it sounds as though he is sleeping until 9 am? that is long stretch from 2 am. so it's all good!
PS: The schedule will no doubt change as he gets older, or his nutritional needs mature and change.

doesn't sound like enough naps to me; mine is 8 mos and naps more than that...every baby is different, but i think you should call your ped and ask them this question....
