Whose voice do you prefer? This isn't a competition based on talent (so disregard the fact that Mikael plays guitar for Opeth as well), just focus on them as a vocalist.

Wow bro 2 totally different styles there that's tuff
as Phil does have a Beautiful mellow clean vocal style I prefer Mikes clean much more.
On the aggressive end of things Phil hands down.
Mike has an awesome Death Metal style but I never did care much for the Growls I know many of my friends that think they are cool but sometimes and not ALL THE TIME I think they are kind of Cheesy

Mikael à kerfeldt has a much better voice than Anselmo, who sounds rather...uninspired in his later years in Pantera.

I love Phil Anselmo and have never been able to get into Opeth....So I gotta go with Phil because Pantera is one of my all time favorite bands

Both are Fantastical.
Phil Anselmo has a broad vocal range.Superjoint ritual and pantera show's his true skill as a vocalist.Even when he was with arson anthem.And i love pantera.
