"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and ***commanding to abstain from meats,*** which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." (1 Timothy 4:1-3)

“Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you” (Genesis 9:3)

"It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat." (Acts 10:12-13)

“For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs” (Romans 14:2)

And didn't God get irritated with Cain for offering him vegetables instead of meat? (Genesis 4:3-8)

You can be a vegetarian in every religion except the ones that follow cannibalism.

You can be anything you want in this world, and you will be respected, so long as you believe in god. (at least thats what it feels like sometimes)

I could care less if you sit in a garage and say "im a car, im a car, im a car", and if you truly believe your a car, I could care less, just dont push your beliefs on me. If the pentecoastal faith is against vegetarians, they can piss off. It is your choice, and they have no right to tell you what to believe.
