    You must use combinations to solve this one, like so:

    7C1 + 7C2 + 7C3 + 7C4 + 7C5 + 7C6 + 7C7

    I won't solve it for you, but I will give you everything you need to know to solve it. The formula for combinations is:

    nCr = (n!)/[(n-r)!(r!)]

    So, simply apply that formula to all of the combinations above then add to get your answer.
